I just wanted to mention my personal experience in that kratom helps me immensely with chronic back pain that I've had for close to a decade. I've been on pain medication for that amount of time as well and am able to take less of it because of my ability to access kratom. I do not find it addictive or harmful and consider it to enhance my life by reducing my pain exponentially. Any ban is detrimental to people who depend on it that would have to go to dangerous or inaccessible, ie street drugs or pain doctors, too get relief.
