I do not agree that all behavior issues should be addressed in writing. Discussions about behaviors are sensitive and are usually discussed with the parents in person. Conversations allow the information to be relayed with empathy, which is part of the relationship building process with parents. The school should decide when additional written documentation is necessary. Also the term " behavior issues" is subjective. Who decides when a certain behavior constitutes an issue?
