Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. It is an essential to sustaining life on earth; plants breathe and thrive on carbon dioxide. The current levels of carbon dioxide have resulted in greatly increased crop yields and thus lower food prices. The premise that carbon dioxide is causing environmental damage is false.
Global temperatures are governed by solar activity. Human activity is trivial to the point of insignificant in affecting global temperatures and thus climate.
Wind and solar generation, being intermittent in nature, dramatically raise the overall cost of electric power generation.
It makes no sense to increase electric costs in a vain effort to affect the results of solar activity. We cannot regulate the sun. Wind and solar electric power generation will have no effect on global temperatures.
