I'm 61 and I can remember in '78 the cover of Time Magazine showing an iceburg and saying we were heading into the next ice age.  Actually that "scientific" prognatication started in 1969.  Scientist continues with this prediction until about 1989.   The suddenly and inexplicably they all flipped around 1991 and next thing you know we had Al Gore telling everyone here in large parts Florida would be underwater by 2020.  Well, I live on a flat peninsula her in Florida and NOTHING has changed.  Still going to the same beaches and fishing the same piers, passes and seawalls.  Fact is, we're heading into a grand solar minimum which won't peak until around 2030.  Until then, based upon hsistoric data weather will be more unpredictable, but not hotter nor colder.  Dump the regional compact designed to enrich elites and politicians!
