RGGI is helping to move Virginia's energy mix in the right direction, and is an effective way to fund low-income energy efficiency and flood resiliency. Virginia should be a leader in reducing carbon emissions, not have to be dragged kicking and screaming to do the right thing.

I don't understand why Gov. Youngkin and our Republican senators and delegates all seem to want to deny climate change and exaggerate the cost and effort of transitioning to a clean economy. And asking former EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler to join the Youngkin administration was a kick in the teeth to any Virginian who cares about climate and environment.
