Fossil fuels had a monopoly for decades. It has run its course, economically, particularly when it’s effects have, now,  threatened the future of our children. I have rights as a parent and grandparent to ask you to work toward a safe and clean future for my family. Presently, the money from RGGI is protecting Virginia families’ homes from flooding issues. It also helps parents in making their homes more energy efficient. Then, Bringing in multiple  cleaner energy sources satisfies the needs of all Virginia consumers while protecting their families from fossil fuels’ ongoing harm. Capitalism requires changes to survive.
