I oppose the idea of pulling out of the RGGI on the grounds that the governor is prioritizing his partnerships with the fossil fuel industry over the long-term well-being of his constituents, the country, and the world at large. Ironically, he's trying to garner support by claiming that Virginians will save roughly $2.00 on their utility bills, but this will only serve to exacerbate global warming and cost us all more in the long term.
