Thank you Governor Youngkin for this prudent action.  You are correct in your determination that “Virginia's participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) risks contributing to the increased cost of electricity for our citizens.” 

We cannot put the stability of our electrical grid at risk, nor embrace policies that encourage costly unproven technologies that put us at an economic disadvantage to neighboring states (domestically) or countries (globally).  And these alternative technologies (specifically wind and solar) not only cost more but have other disadvantages including unreliable supply and documented environmental and ecological (biodiversity) impacts and are not proven methods to materially impact climate change.
