As a residence of Prince William County, I write to voice my opposition to giving data centers a variance from air pollution controls. They shouldn't be given an exception, when our electrical grid is already being stretched.
Virginia is pursuing these data centers way too fast, without building proper infrastructure to support it. Slow, thoughtful, measured growth is the only way to ensure quality of life for current residents!
I urge everyone involved to SLOW DOWN on building data centers. Stop changing my county, stop changing Virginia so quickly without thinking through the long-term effects on noise pollution, on the electrical grid, and on quality of life and the environment.
