Please put a ban on the selling of dogs & cats by pet stores. These stores support puppy mills. Puppy mills only care about profits and not the welfare of the dogs. The dogs are subjected to lives in cages without any human interaction or even Interaction with other dogs. They’re often denied vet care and grooming. They are bred until they give out and then killed. The puppies from these puppy mills are taken from their mothers at only 6 weeks and are put in crates on trucks. Many are subjected to weeks on the road as these trucks drop off the puppies at different stores. These puppies miss out on socialization with their brothers and sisters. They aren’t taught how to play by their mothers and siblings. The pet stores then perpetuate this by isolating them in cages. The same thing happens to kittens. Banning the selling of dogs and cats in pet stores will help end some of their suffering. It will end the demand created by the pet store owners. Please put a ban on selling dogs and cats in pet stores!!!
