VDH forfeited what little moral and ethical authority it formerly had to say anything about vaccination when it failed to repent of its refusal to acknowledge, much less investigate, the great number of safety signals regarding the covid injection, including the fact that several countries have stopped its use in persons under either 18, 30 or 50 years of age.  Moreover, the VDH conspired with the FDA in foisting misinformation regarding ivermectin (see its 10/28/21 Dear Colleague email) that tied doctors and pharmacists hands and caused enormous suffering. 

I respectfully request that no additional shots be added to the vaccination schedule, and that the current schedule be renamed "shots to be considered, should you choose to do so," and that all relevant Virginia code be amended by removing any material authority from VDH to impose anything on anyone, and finally that the assertion of a religious objection to anything emanating from VDH would be accepted without question by schools, employers, and every part of government of the Commonwealth.
