Puppies and kittens in Virginia’s pet stores

The greatness of a nation and its MORAL PROGRESS can be judged by the way it treats its animals.

Pet stores selling puppies and kittens  should be held to at least the same standards of care and humane treatment as our municipal and non-profit shelters.

The greatness of a nation and its MORAL PROGRESS can be judged by the way it treats its animals.

I hope that the Commonwealth of Virginia will show that its moral progress is  advancing by the proper regulation of these businesses which far too often fail to treat their puppies and kittens as sentient beings who can feel pain and fear.

The greatness of a nation and its MORAL PROGRESS can be judged by the way it treats its animals.
