Strongly support Open and Concealed Carry in National Forests

As an avid outdoorsman, frequenting both Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest,I feel very strongly that our National Forests should mimic the new decision of carrying protection for Self in our Great Outdoors in Virginia. The places that I hike and Flyfish in the GW Forest are remote, and the possibility of a need for protection other than "Bear Spray" truly does exist. There are more than just Rattlesnakes and Bears. There are,and can be at any time,a human "predator".The thought is alarming, but in reality, there are dangers other than Wildlife in our National Forests.I also believe that by allowing Law Abiding Citizens their 2nd Amendment right to protect themselves from threat is a Constitutional guarantee, set down by our Forefathers, where, when our Constitution was written, the success of this almighty Country,warranted,no....Demanded that arms were beared in these very places,(our national parks and forests).

We have a right to protect ourselves from any and all threats, and this would be a great step in that direction.

I would also urge our Senators and Representatives to move ahead and enable an "Castle Law" Doctrine, based on,if not verbatim of Floridas Castle Law.

Thank you,sincerely,George Bury.
