I am in support of this issue, if a person who is obviously a law abiding citizen and carries a valid concealed carry permit, he/she should be able to carry in the state forrests. Any criminal is not going to pay attention to any law anyway, so any law restricting firearms only affects law abiding citizens. Concealed carry permit holders as you know, have to pass a background investigation and in most localities a fingerprint check then has to be signed off by a judge so if the judicial system approves a person to carry concealed then that permit should be recognized by any department within the state. No matter where a person may travel to or visit, we have the right to self defense and personal protection.
