I believe that any citizen of the Commonwealth of Virginia who abides by the law should have the respect by the residing government to protect themselves and others while on State Park land. To give citizens the right to carry a concealed weapon in public places should transpire to State Park land. As an honorable conceal permit holder, I think it is my duty to inform the Dept. of Forestry and elected officials of the inconsistency in law which can be addresses with this new amendment.
