I support! The concealed carry legislation looks good, open carry would be a LOT better

While I welcome the legislation that allows licensed individuals to concealed carry into the forests, it would be a lot easier to safely enjoy and participate in the forest and the (summer) weather if I didn't have to conceal my handgun, as is legal throughout the rest of the state. It can also be a deterrant to crime to have visible protection. I would feel safer in the forests from dangerous animals and criminals if I could have my handgun with me.

Anyone using their handgun (or any other weapon) in a manner other than protection (threatening or horseplay), should be dealt with in different legislation.

Thank You!
