I strongly support allowing Concealed Carry in our forests but I would also like to see law abiding citizens allowed to carry in the open as well. Crime does not stop at the end of the asphalt. The police are reactive and having someone come along to put up crime scene tape hours after a crime does nothing for public safety.  Citizens should be allowed the tools needed to ensure their own safety.
