As a concealed carry permit holder at age 72, and ex Navy enlisted, I would like to be able to defind myself if attacked by a person or large animal while in a state park. My wife and i have camped in several state and federal parks and the only protection to be had is an axe or knife. Now that I and my wife can carry a pistol with us while camping or just passing tru a federal park, I feel a lot safer. We should have the right to carry in State parks as well and be able to defend ourselves if attacked by a person or animal. Thanks
