I am an avid hiker spending a lot of time on state trails.  Although most of the time I feel safe the ability to conceal carry will be a welcome change and added sense of security.  During hot and humid weather conditions, open carry would also be a great change to help reduce back pack weight, provide a more comfortable carry in an external holster that doesn't interfere with my pack, and allow easy access to my weapon should I feel the need for it.  Please add open carry to the regulation change.
