No to the Mandate

I so NO to mandating any vaccination that has not been approved and is still in the experimental phase.  We know little about the effect this vaccine has on the human body.  However, we are learning more each day and what we have learned is not good.  What we do know is that people who have received the vaccine are still getting COVID, and when they do they become sicker then those non vaccinated people that get infected.  We know that many countries, due to multiple adverse reactions (including death and paralysis) have stopped giving  these vaccinations to anyone under the age to 16 to 18 years of age.  Just knowing those facts surprises me that Richmond is even considering on mandating this vaccine to children.

Not only has this vaccination proven to be dangerous to many, especially children, but this mandate would also be unlawful.  Any mandate that forces people to inject their body with an experimental drug, with-out any option of choice is totally unconstitutional and against several current federal regulations, especially the ones that control the use of experimental drugs.  And, YES, this is still an experimental drug and has only been approved for emergency use, which allows exemptions.

All I have seen over the past months since the Executive Order mandating vaccinations for Federal employees, civilian workers, military, and large companies with over 100 people is heartache.  People are being forced to choice to get a vaccine (that may kill or debilitate) or lose a job that will provide an income.  This decision has proven to be so devastating to many that suicide rates in the US (including the military) have increased over 25% in the past few months alone.  To add this stress to families in unconscionable.

As far as I am concerned any elected official agreeing to this mandate, especially without opt out options, does not have the people's best interest and therefore has no business holding a public office.
