No, and let me answer petitioner's concerns...

The data does not support your premise that:

a) Children are spreading Covid-19

b) Children OR teachers are getting Covid-19 from schools

c) Vaccines protect people from spreading or getting Covid.

Regarding A, please, stop masking children, making them afraid, and acting like they are spreaders.  They are not.  If they were, how would entire countries (ahem, Sweden) have kept schools open and maskless this entire time with no additional spread.

Regarding B, in cases where teachers have contracted Covid, they have received it overwhelmingly from their outside activities, not from school.  It's important to look at the data.  Acting like the children are the cause is insane and disingenuous.

Regarding C, increasingly, vaccinated people are the ones spreading and contracting Covid.  Therefore, it cannot be true that vaccinations make you immune, and that being unvaccinated makes you infected.

Schools should completely stop over-testing kids and shutting down operations when there is a "case".  In our schools, athletes, all vaccinated, are required to have weekly tests.  Sometimes these tests are positive (it is not the case that these kids have symptoms), and then they shut things down.

It is common sense that IF a person has symptoms of any illness (fever, temperature, diarrhea), then they should stay home and get well.  If there are no symptoms, no spreadable illness... why are we shutting out kids from school under those circumstances?

Please, stop letting fear drive policy decisions.  Take a breath.  "Mandating" anything is unreasonable.
