Goals of Regulation | Conform the Virginia Administrative Code to the Code of Virginia. Public assistance applicants will be informed of advance directives at the time of application, enabling them to plan for future needs. In addition, applicants will be able to provide alternate means of communication by the local department of social services, including but not limited to email and text. This may help expedite the eligibility determination process. |
