These regulations establish a training program, approve equipment, and estab-lish methods to conduct a chemical analysis of a person's breath, either to obtain a preliminary analysis of alcoholic content for the purposes of section 18.2-267 or in case of section 18.2-268.9, an analysis that can be considered valid as evidence in prosecution under section 18.2-266 or section 18.2-266.1. |
