| Action Summary | This regulatory action is necessary to bring state Child Care Subsidy Program requirements into compliance with legislation passed by the 2019 General Assembly. Changes to this regulation make transitional child care available to former Virginia Initiative for Employment not Welfare (VIEW) participants enrolled in education and training programs. Under current regulation, such child care assistance is available only if it enables the individual to work. Passage of House Bill 1871 and Senate Bill 1145 require this action. |
