General Information
Action Summary During the 2017 General Assembly Session an Act to amend and reenact ยง62.1-44.15:27 relating to stormwater and erosion management as it relates to administration of the program by a third party (Chapter 349 of the 2017 Acts of Assembly). To account for the legislative change to the Code of Virginia, a sentence specifying that a VSMP authority application package shall include contracts with third-party professionals who hold certificates of competence in the appropriate subject areas to carry out any or all of the responsibilities required of a VSMP including plan review and inspection but not including enforcement.
