Amend Regulation to Conform to Statutory Changes Regarding Training Exemptions

| Action Summary |
The Board has amended the regulations to conform to changes in the Code of Virginia in Chapter 32 of the 2014 Acts of the Assembly. Pursuant to §9.1-141 the Board has the authority to issue partial training exemptions for persons that meet or exceed required training standards. Effective July 1, 2014, the Board will have the statutory authority to issue full training exemptions for persons who meet or exceed the required training standards. This action will remove the word partial from the regulations to allow for full exemptions if applicable. |
