Action Summary The purpose of the proposed action is to implement provisions of the federal Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 that requires states to meet certain work participation rates in their Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program or face substantial penalities.

Executive Branch Review This Action is exempt from Article 2 of the Administrative Process Act. The normal executive branch review process is not required. As such, it can be submitted directly for publication and is effective upon publication.
