Action Summary |
This action is a periodic review and amends the rules to meet four other goals: 1. more opportunities to use electronic media to facilitate in-service training, 2. provide cost savings to agencies and localities, 3. provide consistency between courses used for firearms training for entry-level and in-service officers, and 4. include training on cultural diversity and the potential for biased based policing as required by an addition to the Code of Virginia. |
