| Action Summary | DMAS is required to recalculate the average commercial rate (ACR) every three years. The last ACR was dated April 1, 2017, and CMS required DMAS to submit a new ACR calculation effective April 1, 2020. DMAS submitted a state plan amendment (SPA) to CMS to make this change; the SPA was approved on July 31, 2020, with an effective date of April 1, 2020. This regulatory package will copy the SPA changes into the Virginia Administrative Code. |
