Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes

Updates to the Child Support Enforcement Manual include changes to the notarization requirement for Family Violence, changes to the Interviewing and Communications process for Case Management, revisions to the effective date of a modified order involving a deceased custodial parent, changes to clarify the paternity disposition of a child, changes to clarify collection of expenses, clarification for the Monthly Payment Agreements and revisions to procedures involving lost contact of a custodial parent. In addition, revisions to the number of calendar days for a special circumstance review, updates for the number for a requesting party to provide proof of a change in circumstances, updates for clarification of actions that may be appealed, updates to clarify processes for the electronic funds transfer unit and changes made to add, delete and clarify various documents and their purposes.
