Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes
The changes to TANF guidance are the result of annual updates provided by the federal government, including updates to the 2022 Federal Poverty Level figures and the 2022 Standard Deduction amounts. Additional changes to TANF guidance include clarification regarding immunization documentation requirements, new protocols for evaluating virtual currency and cryptocurrency, and clarification regarding when an assessment or meeting may be held face-to-face, by telephone, or virtually.
