Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes
This version updates and replaces the Public Pay ALF Assessment Manual. Most changes are clarifying edits and clean-up. Changes include: 14.5 - Provides location of Auxiliary Grant Supportive Housing (AGSH) providers’ list; 14.8 - Clarifies information about Medicaid long-term services and supports (LTSS); 14.11 - Clarifies information regarding automated Uniform Assessment Instruments (UAIs); 14.13 - Clarifies information about Medicaid LTSS; 14.28 - Provides location of AGSH Operating Manual; 14.33 - Directs reader to another section for information about AGSH; 14.35 - Adds section about AGSH; 14.36 - Corrects information about Medicaid LTSS and screenings; Appendix A - Clarifies that Auxiliary Grant (AG) is available in adult foster care (AFC) and supportive housing (SH) settings; Appendix B - Clarifies guidance in the assessment process chart; and Appendix J - Corrects guidance on reimbursement processes.
