The regulation requiring assisted living homes to have generators was not well thought out as our home had a study for the generator and the costs was $5500. After this study to tell us where to put the generator, we entertained a bid of $176,000 for a generator to run the building as outlined by the standard. This requirement is unfair and did not take into consideration the assisted living home policy for its residents. The amended regulation is more reasonable and not as burdensome. Please remove the requirement for a generator. Thank you. Anne Mortenson
