Charity and "gaming" shouldn't mix

I believe that any forms of so-called "Charitable gaming" should be severally restricted, if not eliminated altogether.  Although charitable gaming has existed for a long time in the form of bingo games, it is a gateway to the more serious gambling currently being pushed on the neighboring state of Maryland.  We in Virginia must realize that the gambling industry is a huge and wealthy group, and that they want to get their hooks into Virginia!

A seemingly benign change in policy could be seen as an opportunity for the gambling industry to move in.  Virginia must take a stand now, by limiting and restricting all charitable gaming.  This policy will send the message to the gambling industry, that they cannot take over Virginia!

Thank you, Ericka Morgan
