These regulations are very lacking, and also the procedures of the office itself seem questionable to me. I have here in front of me a letter from the Ombudsman, dated 9-16-15, in which she says that I haven't alleged a violation of common interest community law or regulation. I am not an expert on CIC laws and regulations. But I clearly thought that I was bringing up an instance of something that was wrong.
Her letter goes on to say "We have no jurisdiction over the matters you outlined in your complaint". Ideally, for good correspondence tracking, she would have specified the matters that I outlined in my complaint, and she would also tell me what recourse is available to me, for example to work for legislative change through my State Senator, and she would have included a copy of the relevant law so that I could see the wording that would need to be changed, or added to, in order to have my concerns addressed.
Thanks very much for listening, and for anything anyone can do,
Pat
