Action | Amend Regulations Following Periodic Review |

For over a year, the Virginia Board of Health has been going through the process of amending the hard fought gains for abortion center health and safety standards. Several of these amendments would water down the standards - a top goal of Governor Terry McAuliffe.
In spite of the political tone this subject has taken on because of sizeable contributions made to our current administration in Richmond by the abortion industry, these amendments should be rejected. One huge reason for this is that the abortion industry can't be trusted to regulate itself! And from what I have heard they really don't want to because of the money it would cost them. It is time that we start thinking about the health and safety of women, and stop the current practice so prevalent in the political arena now of "you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours". When are we going to start serving the people, and not politicians and the ones who support them?
Thank you for your support.
Have a blessed day.
