I am appalled by the way Virginia is heading. Soon we in Virginia will surpass Mississippi in backward, ignorant treatment of women. We don't need " big, strong, "wise" men to make decisions on how we take care of our own bodies. Why should women's clinics be run like "hospitals," for our "safety." Clinics which provide other "invasive" proceedures, such as colonoscopies, do not have to follow such extreme regulations. These are only being put into place to prevent women, who do NOT make these decisions lightly, from having a procedure which is legal in our country. Added to that, these women are possibly going to be forced to be "raped" with a probe to have an expensive, and medically unnecessary ultrasound before being "allowed" to proceed. Outrageous!
