I strongly oppose this bill. I don’t see the purpose in this bill, for where I hound hunt in Mecklenburg County it very rarely seems to be an issue to catch our hounds. It seems very devastating to me that if one time things don’t work out with a hound, then I can potentially have a misdemeanor in my name. Lastly what confuses me the most is why this bill is just targeting deer/bear hounds. What’s the difference in these hounds from all the other hounds used to hunt other game?
