DWR has ignored the truth found in their own data and is trying to sell the lie that dog hunters are a problem! their policies have driven away hunters, while they chase funding for non-game programs. The Virginia General Assembly has rejected their proposals as anti-hunting. They ignore their own information, relying on wild half-truths and unsubstantiated stories to support your agenda. They are an unelected board that has forgotten where the funding comes from: sportsmen and women of Virginia. Please reject this proposal. This proposal singles out deer and bear dog hunters at a time when hunting numbers continues to decline overall.
