I have been an LPN in Virginia for 10 years. Many of those years have been spent trying to further my education. I was enrolled in Excelsiors Program when the board called a grinding halt to the program and I was devastated. After spending much time and money on this program, I switched gears and enrolled in Indiana State's BSN online degree program, which is currently endorsed by the board. This cost even more money and at this point don't have a clue how I will be able to afford to finish the clinical portion since the nearest clinical site is 4 hours away. I have a family and kids to take care of, as well as job. It will be impossible to finish my RN if Excelsior's Program isn't re-instated. I love what I do and I believe that I am great at it. I just want to be an RN in Virginia. Is that too much to ask for? Please reinstate the Excelsior Program so that I can finish my RN!! Thanks!
