Thank you for allowing me to share my views/ comments on the proposed 1900 acre industrial solar project in Buckingham VA. I have 67 acres on Paynes Pond road and my property line is Little Georgia Creek. Many times when we get an extremely hard rain the creeks main flow changes. It can move up to 75 yards from its prior flow. This creek is a tributary to the James River and contains many species of fish/ minnows that migrate to the river. The addition of 1900 acres of runoff from the solar project not only threatens those species of fish , but it will also cause erosion of my property and will affect the creeks main flow. Due to the proximity to the River wildlife is abundant in the area including Bear, deer, turkeys and many others. The land in question also provides a large amount of timber as most of it is timber farm land. I urge you to consider all of the repercussions that would obviously affect the surrounding wildlife, land owners, and lumber industry in buckingham. I oppose this project and would hope that the DEQ has expressed the same concerns.
