| Purpose of the meeting The Early Childhood Advisory Committee (ECAC) will now convene virtually on Wednesday, May 29, from 11 AM-2 PM to receive updates on the Preschool Development Grant (PDG) and the 2025-2027 Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) State Plan and to review the revised Standards for Licensed Child Day Centers. Additional details can be found in the meeting agenda on the ECAC website. Please note that this is a change from the original meeting date. The meeting will be live streamed for public viewing via the VDOE YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrbxl9wHScrWKWIEoUWNIfQ/videos). If the live stream is unavailable, please contact earlychildhoodaccess@doe.virginia.gov, and the team will troubleshoot the issue. The recording will be posted within five business days. The ECAC will accept written public comments in advance of the meeting through the ECAC Comment Form (https://forms.office.com/g/RuHXgs3tpj). This form collects public comments for review by the members of ECAC. All comments received by 8 AM on Wednesday, May 29, will be shared with ECAC members during the meeting.
