Purpose of the meeting A public hearing to receive comment on a draft permit amendment for the Brunswick County Power Station. An informational briefing will be held prior to the public hearing beginning at 6:00 p.m. Use the same registration link provided for the public hearing. The facility is classified as a major source of air pollution. The applicant is proposing to include alternative operating scenarios for the turbines during maintenance activities and to add alternative daily emission limits for NOx and CO during those activities. The permit will limit the duration and frequency of each maintenance activity. There will be no increase in the annual potential to emit of air pollutants. | |
