I support the carrying of handguns, concealed or not, on state forests. This is consistent both with the 2nd and 14th amendment, i.e. what the federal government can't restrict according to the 2nd, the states can't either according to the 14th. What about "shall not be infringed" do some people not understand??? Given personal safety concerns in situations of encounters with e.g. rabid animals or with criminals who are acting in a similarly dangerous and life-threatening manner, individuals should be able to protect themselves. It certainly won't be very soon that help would be on the way even after a quick cellphone call!
