Abortion center regulations MUST BE PRESERVED AS IS, not watered down! The enforcement of proper health care regulations is essential for the health and safety of Virginia women.
Planned Parenthood (on their Website) describes their entity as a "health care provider". (Per definition), Under federal regulations, a "health care provider" is defined as: a doctor of medicine or osteopathy, podiatrist, dentist, chiropractor, clinical psychologist, optometrist, nurse practitioner, nurse-midwife, or clinical social worker who is authorized to practice by the State and performing within the scope of their practice as defined by State law,...etc"
My questions are as follows: 1) Why shouldn't Planned Parenthood be required to follow Federal Regulations of a health care provider? They are getting billions of dollars from the US Government to provide "health care". 2) What documentation does Planned Parenthood provide the Government (to comply with regulations) as proof that doctors and nurses are caring for patients in this health care provider facility?
