If more regulations for womens health were needed, there would be evidence from injuries/deaths in places where these regulations were not in place. That isn't the case. Until evidence - clear, impartial, unbiased by religion - can be found to support the need for these regulations, then they are simply impeding womens health, not helping it.
I realize womens reproductive health is a hot topic, and those with a religious mission feel obligated to continue to push their beliefs on others. I also realize that many of the MEN in power in Virginia fall into that category. I ask that everyone involved take a step back and approach this issue logically, by relying on evidence for a clear need.
