As indicated in a previous post, ES and Locksmiths (my company holds both licenses) are not a good fit with other categories under the DCJS regulatory umbrella. We have rapidly changing products and services. We shouldn't need to wait months for DCJS or any other body to approve company training.
At one point there was discussion that each category would have its own chapter...where did that idea go.
Even the recently released DCJS wish list is full of red tape and shell game expectations which is very disappointing because it really demonstrates how significant the divide is between private industry and regulators. There aren't cuts in red tape...just moving the tape somewhere else.
