I am writing this brief message in support of the use of growlers for businesses that only have off-premises liquor licenses. I am unsure of the original reason for the split in the licenses regarding growlers, but the use of growlers is an enviornmentally efficent way to sell beer, similar to milk being delivered by a milk man. The continual reuse of this container saves a great deal of glass. I am unaware of any reason why there would be concerns about use with growlers as opposed to the sales for bottles, for either concers about customer "drunkeness" or concerns about the purity of the product sold.
