This board, it seems, is trying to abide by the wishes the big multi truck companies in northern Virginia which has several employees and doesn't spend his nights out on the road dealing with the elements.  It appears that the towing industry is under enough financial burden by the cost of fuel, insurance and updating equipment not to say being put under the same restraints as medical professionals and others in highly skilled professions.  Do you need a masters degree or a plaque to put on the wall to get up at midnight and change a flat tire in the pouring rain or snow when its 30 degrees outside, or go work a wreck and  take care of a situation lasting several  hours which includes a fatality  and reconstruction of the accident scene.  Seems like our government has forgotten what the small mom and pop operations throughout our country has done to make Virginia and our country what it is.  We now have a government that wants to regulate everything except the air we breathe which maybe someday they will figure that out .  The BTRO needs to look at everything it is trying to do and ask who are they trying to control.  Seems like our governor needs to do to this board what he did to the LAWS PERTAINING TO FINES COLLECTED FROM VIRGINIA DRIVERS FOR THE ROAD FUND which was cancelled.  LEGISLATURES LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE DOING. WE DONT NEED MORE OUT OF WORK OR OUT OF BUSINESS COMPANIES. DMV already has regulations .  Let them inforce the regulations we already have.  We should be putting SAFETY  FIRST.  If there is a problem with unauthorized or wildcat towers, let the localaties where it happened take care of it.
