In my opinion: These requirements listed are mostly overkill and restrictive since they restrict the operator from
working for any other company even though he or she may be overqualified for the required duties.
There must be opportunities for a qualified operator to free-lance, especially when the company or persons employing his services are slow.
Many operators work on commission. Their family requirements will necessitate working for others to supplement any short paychecks.
Company ownership of employees went out in the 1930's when the coal miners unionized. Company ownership as to operator's license and employer control must not be revisited by the towing services. Operators must maintain and be allowed to maintain their individual freedoms!
These requirements should be set aside, Most college professionals are not subject to this overbearing type of constraints.
Also: towing companies don't compensate it's employees or provide enough perks for this type of abuse to be acceptable.
All operators and companies are asked by me to PLEASE STEP UP NOW and RESIST THIS TYPE OF SLAVERY before it harms you and your livelihood.
